Aged in used hogsheads for 12 months.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan style=\"font-size: 12.0pt;\"\u003eDeep, soft dark cherry red with faint ruby highlights. Fairly heady nose from the combination of clone and warm year. Offers dark brambly fruits, dried red cherry, blackberry and fruitcake spice\/old spice. A dusty dried red earth\/ironstone note from the soil. Medium to full for the variety, this heads past the ripe and dried red and dark berries with barely a glance instead showing you its raw iron and sanguine heart before a note of sweet blood orange. Alcohol and tannins delivering that red wine hit with a rich texture finishing with drying tannins at the tip.
